Privacy Policy for Ripple Beat and Brattish Games

Effective date: 21 August 2026
Last updated: 24 August 2026

Brattish Games is the studio name used by Carlos Bradley Williams, an independent game developer operating in South Africa. Ripple Beat is developed and published by Carlos Bradley Williams, trading as Brattish Games.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you:

  • Play Ripple Beat on Android or iOS;
  • Visit brattishgames.com; or
  • Contact Brattish Games.

The short version

Ripple Beat does not collect or transmit personal information or gameplay data through the game. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, user accounts, cloud saves, in-app purchases, or social features.

The Brattish Games website uses essential hosting and security services. With your consent, it may also use analytics and advertising technologies provided by Google, Meta, and TikTok. These optional technologies are blocked unless and until you consent through our cookie banner.

Ripple Beat

Information stored on your device

Ripple Beat stores a small amount of game information locally on your device so that the game works as expected. This may include:

  • Game progress, level unlocks, and best scores;
  • Your last-played level; and
  • Music and sound-effect volume settings.

The game may also read basic device capabilities, such as the device model and total system memory, to choose suitable visual-performance settings. This information is processed only on your device. Brattish Games does not receive or transmit it.

Local game information is not linked to an account because Ripple Beat does not have user accounts. You can remove this information by clearing the app's storage through your device settings or by uninstalling the game.

Your operating system may include app data in a device backup according to your Apple or Google backup settings. Brattish Games does not control or have access to those backups.

Information Ripple Beat does not collect

Ripple Beat does not collect or transmit:

  • Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or physical addresses;
  • Account or login information;
  • Precise or approximate location;
  • Contacts, photos, videos, audio recordings, or files;
  • Advertising identifiers or other identifiers used for tracking;
  • Gameplay analytics, usage history, or diagnostic data; or
  • Payment or financial information.

Ripple Beat does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.

Third-party technology and app stores

Ripple Beat is built with the Unity game engine. We do not enable Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, Unity crash reporting, Unity cloud services, or Unity purchasing services in the game.

Apple and Google may independently process information when you download, install, update, back up, or review Ripple Beat through their services. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and account settings. Brattish Games does not control those services.

The Brattish Games website

Essential hosting and security information

The website is hosted using Cloudflare. When you visit the website, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and secure it, such as:

  • Your IP address;
  • Browser and device information;
  • Requested pages and files;
  • Request dates and times; and
  • Information used to detect malicious traffic, fraud, or security incidents.

This processing is necessary to operate, protect, and maintain the website. It is not used by Brattish Games for behavioural advertising.

You can learn more in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy:

Analytics and advertising technologies

If you consent through our cookie banner, the website may activate the following technologies through Google Tag Manager:

  • Google Analytics 4, including Google Signals and advertising audiences, to understand website use, produce aggregated audience and demographic insights, measure campaigns, and create audiences for advertising;
  • Google Ads, to measure advertising performance and support remarketing or personalised advertising where permitted;
  • Meta Pixel, to measure visits and advertising performance and support audiences or advertising on Meta services; and
  • TikTok Pixel, to measure visits and advertising performance and support audiences or advertising on TikTok.

Depending on the technology and your settings, these providers may process information such as:

  • Cookie and advertising identifiers;
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it;
  • Browser, device, and operating-system information;
  • Pages viewed, links selected, visit duration, and referring pages;
  • Interactions with the website; and
  • Advertising and campaign information.

Google Signals may associate website activity with information from people who are signed in to a Google account and have enabled Ads Personalization. Brattish Games receives reporting and audience information rather than access to an individual's Google account identity.

Google Tag Manager manages when website tags run. Google Tag Manager itself does not replace the privacy practices of the services loaded through it.

You can learn more about these providers' practices in their privacy policies:

Your cookie choices

We use a custom cookie banner. Analytics and advertising tags are blocked by default and do not run unless you give the relevant consent.

You can reject optional cookies and still use the website. You can also change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings control on the website.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal. You may also delete existing cookies through your browser settings.

Essential technologies needed to deliver and secure the website and remember your privacy choices may operate without advertising or analytics consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define the use of advertising pixels or audience tools as the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising.

Where those laws apply, rejecting advertising cookies or withdrawing consent through Cookie Settings acts as an opt-out from that use.

If you contact us

Ripple Beat and the website do not include contact forms, newsletter registration, user accounts, or payment facilities.

If you contact Brattish Games by email, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address and the contents of your message.

We use that information to:

  • Respond to you;
  • Provide support;
  • Protect our rights; or
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell this information. It may be processed by service providers that help us operate our email or website, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. It may also be disclosed where required by law.

How we use and share information

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

  • Your consent for optional analytics, audience creation, and advertising technologies;
  • Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, troubleshooting, and improving the website, provided those interests do not override your rights; and
  • Legal obligations where processing or retention is required by law.

Information may be processed by Cloudflare, Google, Meta, TikTok, and service providers that support our website or communications.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we and our providers rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law;
  • Respond to lawful requests;
  • Protect rights or safety;
  • Investigate misuse; or
  • Complete a business reorganisation.

Retention and deletion

Ripple Beat's local game information remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the game.

We retain emails and related support correspondence for up to 12 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is required to comply with law, resolve a dispute, or protect legal rights.

We retain information directly controlled by Brattish Games only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Cloudflare, Google, Meta, TikTok, Apple, and Google Play apply their own retention periods to information they independently process. You may use our Cookie Settings control and the privacy controls offered by those providers to limit future processing.

When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal backup cycles.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether we hold personal information about you;
  • Request access to or a copy of that information;
  • Ask us to correct, delete, or restrict its use;
  • Object to certain processing;
  • Request portability of information you provided;
  • Withdraw consent at any time; and
  • Complain to the privacy or data-protection authority in your country.

To exercise a right, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your request.

Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, including situations where information must be retained to comply with law or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Because Ripple Beat does not send game information to Brattish Games or link it to an account, we cannot access or delete the local game information on your device for you. You can delete it through your device settings or by uninstalling the game.

Children’s privacy

Ripple Beat is intended for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else through the game. It has no advertising, chat, social features, account registration, or user-generated content.

The Brattish Games website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Optional analytics and advertising technologies remain blocked until consent is provided.

If you are below the age at which you can provide valid consent in your country, a parent or guardian should make that choice for you.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information to Brattish Games, contact us. We will review the request and delete the information where appropriate.

Security

Because Ripple Beat's progress and settings remain on your device, their security depends in part on your device and operating-system protections.

For the website and information sent directly to Brattish Games, we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved.

No method of electronic storage or communication is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Ripple Beat's features, our website, our data practices, legal obligations, or store requirements change.

We will post the updated policy at:

https://brattishgames.com/privacy

We will also revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy.

If a future version of Ripple Beat begins collecting data, we will update this policy and the relevant App Store and Google Play disclosures before that collection begins.
